RETURNS
Please note: some items are non-returnable, see the “Exceptions” section below for full details.
Damages and issues – please contact me within 48 hours
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your artwork is damaged, take clear photos, keep the original packaging, and contact me within 48 hours of delivery. Due to insurance requirements, I can’t accept claims submitted after that window. Once I’ve reviewed your photos, I’ll get in touch so we can work out a solution together.
If you’ve received a delivery notification but haven’t actually received your artwork, please contact me within 48 hours. I’ll look into it right away.
I guarantee a 100% Full Refund if you do not receive your paid for order or if the artwork is damaged upon arrival.
Other returns – request within 14 days
If you change your mind, you can return eligible pieces for a full refund within 14 days of delivery.
To qualify, the artwork must be in its original condition and packaging, just as you received it. Please include your receipt or proof of purchase.
Please note: return shipping costs are your responsibility.
To start a return, just email me at maartje@studiomadebo.com. Please don’t send anything back without checking in first. I can’t accept returns that weren’t requested in advance.
If your return is accepted, I’ll send you a return shipping label and clear instructions on where to send your package. Returns should be shipped to:

The Netherlands (for international returns)
When returning an order, I strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service with insurance. Keep your receipt and tracking number as proof of shipment. If the artwork isn’t returned in its original condition, you’ll be responsible for any loss in value.
Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is at your expense, unless you received the wrong artwork. In that case, I’ll cover the full cost of return shipping.

Please note: due to screen settings across different devices, the colors of originals and prints may vary slightly from what you see on your screen.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Because of their nature, some items can’t be returned. These include:
– Framed prints (custom-made to order);
– Custom pieces such as commissions or personalized items.
If you’re unsure whether your piece qualifies, feel free to email me with your question.
Refunds
Once I’ve received and inspected your return, I’ll let you know whether it’s been approved. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. Just keep in mind that banks and credit card companies may take a few days to process and post it on their end.
Most refunds are processed within 7 to 21 business days from the time I receive the return. If it’s been longer than 21 business days since your refund was approved, feel free to reach out: maartje@studiomadebo.com.
Exchanges
If you’d like to swap your piece for something else, the quickest way is to return the original (once accepted) and place a new order separately.
Redelivery
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If your order is returned to me due to an incorrect address, any redelivery costs will be your responsibility.
Liability
Once your order has been delivered, I’m not responsible for any damage that may occur afterward - to you, your property, or anyone else’s.
I also can’t be held responsible for the website being unavailable or for any technical or electronic errors that might occur while browsing or ordering.
